This is a set of tunes I arranged as part of my set in the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2020 final.
I found the first tune in Addie Harper's book "My Fiddle and Me" and the second tune was taught to me by my good pal, and All-Ireland flute champion, Tiernan Courell.

One of my biggest inspirations - Mike Vass, and in particular this album, Decemberwell. This album pushed me to write my own tunes and made me re-evaluate what 'folk music' can be. Calum McIlroy
One of my many influences as a guitar player. Ian's unique approach to accompaniment, tune writing, and arrangement has inspired me to no end. Calum McIlroy

Great Scottish band! The addition of guests like Duncan Chisholm-fiddler extraordinaire- and Julie Fowlis-an authentic voice of Scotland- make it perfect. dardar1126

Dystopia was my introduction to Talisk when the live version of it was out on youtube. Between the energy and life not just by the music itself, but the people playing it being so engrained into the songs themselves, Talisk has become a foot-stomper, and an absolute jam of a band to put on full volume. ladyoforion
